Canada: Unemployment Rate rises to 7.5% in December

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - From November?s 7.4% rate, Statistics Canada indicate an unexpected higher reading in December to 7.5%. It?s the highest level since April.

Net change in employment grew by 17.5k in December after previous month?s fall by -18.6k. Analysts were expecting a rise by 15.0k.
