In the event that Marriage Has gone out, May be the Relationship ...

A week ago during the dialogue group that I keep, someone posed problem, ?Is in a relationship worth it if either from the parties have no marriage as their end goal? ? This particular question sparked lots of good conversation and it made me personally think a little around the significance of marriage to begin with. Is marriage THE end goal? If so, exactly what does that mean in terms of overall lifestyle goals? Can THE end goal be to prevent get married? If so, could be the relationship worth it?

Prior to we dive within, let?s take a step back and think about what it imply to hold something useful or worthy. These two terms are very subjective, therefore the old saying ?One man?s trash is another mans treasure?. Quite simply, simply because I see something as worthless doesn?t mean that it does not hold value to someone else. I am unable to tell you what exactly is of value to you. Actually I can tell you but you have to decide for yourself whether a person agree or differ.

How can you decide on what is worthy? Very best requirements? I don?t know. Again, this is highly subjective. I tend to live through the rule, if this makes me happy, I?ll make an effort to do more of this. If it makes me unhappy I?ll proceed away from this. And what makes me happy and unsatisfied changes as I grow. When it comes to marriage, I can?t say whether it makes me personally happy or not simply because I?ve never been wedded. But I recognize from the things i see around me personally that it is certainly not something to strive for.

Another point I?d prefer to make is the fact that marriage is just not an end whatsoever. It?s a legitimate level. It?s like going steady towards the 2nd strength, where there?s a lot more expectations and duties.

In order to answer the question which was stated throughout the dialogue, I?d have approach it from another position. The question at hand is, Is being in a relationship worth it if possibly of the parties have no marriage as their end goal? ? I might say it really is worth it. Any occassion you encounter in life is worth something. It contributes to your list of experiences and helps you shape your own personally, educate your mind, and grow as an person.

I don?t know if I am right or wrong or even if it matters in any event. The things i am sure of is that this is my opinion in the current moment and you can decide if you would like to agree always. Before you decide in any event, consider it to get a moment.
