Allen London of 22 Pebble Beach Drive, Shalimar, died Sunday morning, October 14. He was preceded in his passing by Elaine London, his wife of 50 years. He is survived by his three children, son: Charles (Bonnie) London, daughter: Sally (Lou) Carnevale, son: David (Kim Dimsmore) London; five grandchildren, Ellen (Ethan Simonowitz) London, Rachel (Gordon) Kimbrell, Allison (Kevin) Fields, Stephanie (Adam) Cronstein, Elliot (Whitney) Carnevale; two great-grandchildren: Elijah London and Lucas Fields. He also leaves behind hundreds of friends and people whose lives he touched through his selfless volunteer work supporting the Okaloosa County Sheriff's office, Covenant Hospice, the Shalimar Library, the Air Force Armament Museum and Temple Beth Shalom.
Funeral service will be 10:30 am Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road NE, Fort Walton Beach, 32547, with a private interment at Beal Memorial Park
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the organizations that meant so much to him. Covenant Hospice, Temple Beth Shalom, or the Shalimar Library.
